Wintercamp 2010 in Bohinj will host very first Metal Ski Cup, professional competition for metal heads - skiers. Competition will happen in ' alpine metal ski styles ' that means that a competitor can choose between, 'death metal downhill', 'speed metal giant slalom', 'hard core plough', 'extreme black metal slalom' or 'old school pagan ski style'.
If you are a metal head we want to invite you to compete and participate in the first edition of Wintercamp, Metal Ski Cup Competition. We accept skiers or snow boarders, amateurs, professionals or metal ski entertainers, both female and male. If you are under age, make sure you bring your mom's approval letter or just bring her with you. The winners of first WRC Metal Ski Cup will be charted by special ski metal jury according to: time, ski style and image. The race slope will be pegged by a well-known metal head/ ski enthusiast (TBA).

FRIDAY, MARCH 5th 2010
The whole day is reserved for arrival of metal ski groups, competitors and guests. Last registration and conformation for participating at WRC Ski Cup 2010 is in race office (TBA). The whole day is reserved for free skiing, ski group’s trainings in metal atmosphere with Metal DJ program at ski resort Vogel. Concerts and entertainment program in the venue Danica from 16 hours until early morning.
SATURDAY, MARCH 6th 2010
14:00 – bib draw for Wintercamp Ski Cup competition in venue Danica. The whole day is reserved for free skiing, ski group’s trainings in metal atmosphere with Metal DJ program at ski resort Vogel. Concerts and entertainment program in the venue Danica from 16 hours until early morning
SUNDAY, MARCH 7th 2010
During the whole three days of Wintercamp ski cup, the best selected Metal DJ's will play metal for you. The race will be hosted by well-known expert in all Alpine Ski Metal styles.
10:45 - Alpine Metal Ski Styles – Skiers and entertainers M and F (Vogel, slope Ride The Lightening)
13:00 - Alpine Metal Style – Boarders M and F (Vogel, slope Ride The Lightening)
After the Race – Prize giving ceremony for first Wintercamp Ski Trophy, free skiing and DJ program.
NOTE TO ALL COMPETITORS!!!!
Last date to sign up as competitor in 'alpine ski style' disciplines at Wintercamp Ski Organisation is March the 3rd 2010!!!
All competitors and ski teams must insure they have appropriate WRC Package/ Ski Pass/ Festival ticket for each person participating in the race. On top each competitor must prove satisfactory knowledge about heavy metal (a short question form must be send back). If your quiz results come back at least 50% or higher you can compete. You must be at least 50% metal head. All competitors who will race in 'death metal downhill' categories need to sign THE DEATH METAL SPORTSMEN DECLARATION or the declaration is signed for them by their parents or care takers.
